🌱 My Journey Through Failure and Meditation
Life rarely unfolds the way we plan. For me, the years surrounding my HSC examinations became a defining chapter—one shaped by failure, self-doubt, emotional struggle, and eventually, transformation.

This story shares how meditation helped me find balance, clarity, and direction when I needed it most.
📉 2011–2014: Failure, Pressure, and Depression
In 2011, I was admitted to college to pursue my HSC degree. Coming from a village background, adjusting to town life and its academic culture was extremely difficult. I struggled to adapt, failed my exams, and eventually received a transfer certificate (TC) from the college.
Determined not to give up, I took re-admission into another college in my second year.
In 2013, I failed the HSC examination again. The pressure—from my family, society, and my own expectations—became overwhelming. Slowly, I slipped into clinical depression, feeling lost, ashamed, and unsure about my future.
In 2014, I appeared for the exam once more, hoping this attempt would change everything. Unfortunately, I failed again. That second failure was devastating. It forced me to question my abilities, self-worth, and future.
Sometimes failure is not the end of the road—it is the beginning of a different path.
🔄 2015: A Turning Point Through Meditation
During this period of emotional exhaustion and frustration, I discovered meditation. At first, it was simply a way to calm my anger and quiet my restless mind. I learned basic techniques through books and practiced on my own at home.
In 2015, I appeared for the HSC examination again—and this time, I passed.
More important than the result was the internal transformation. Meditation helped me develop:
- Patience during uncertainty
- Focus under pressure
- Self-discipline in daily life
For the first time in years, I felt calm, confident, and mentally grounded.
🧘 2018: Learning Structured Meditation
From February 16 to 19, 2018, I received formal meditation training from the Quantum Foundation.
This experience deepened my understanding and strengthened my practice. From that point onward, meditation became a permanent part of my life, not just a temporary solution to stress.
🌟 How Meditation Changed My Life
Meditation brought long-lasting and meaningful changes to my life:
- Anger Management — I no longer react impulsively or hold unnecessary frustration
- Healthier Habits — Replaced destructive behaviors with mindful daily routines
- Emotional Stability — Greater resilience during stress, failure, and uncertainty
- Self-Awareness — Clearer understanding of thoughts, emotions, and actions
Meditation is no longer something I simply do—it is a way I live. It helped me rebuild myself after repeated failure and develop a mindset rooted in patience, growth, and inner balance.
✨ Final Thoughts
Failure does not define your future—your response to it does.
Keep growing, stay patient, and trust your journey—even when the path is unclear.
